Fall colors will fade to white

This is what my street is covered with these days. Although we rarely get any snow on the ground in Vancouver, the anticipation of white surroundings is kicking in.

And you know soon enough it will be just like this in Mt. Baker.

This is from the third week of Nov. 2006 and it was all-time right at the start of the season. One of my deepest days of the year was in November, can’t complain about that. World Record Snowfall holder Mt. Baker started off last year with 250 inches in November and another 112 in December, my fingers are crossed for another early start and my legs are ready. Bring it on!

Furthermore, my friends at Salomon made me a little something special to make the most of all those epic West Coast days; I can’t show it to you yet since this is some 2008-2009 shreddastic gear but trust me, it will make great days even better. I hope to share a run with you my friends!

Got to like those fall colors. That’s one thing I do miss from Quebec. As for the snow, yep Baker sure has lots to offer. My first day last year was epic. 50cm over night and another 30 during the day. That was in November. The rest of the season was also very good last year.

    See you on the slopes.
