David Benedek, Christoph Weber-Torensen and Boris Benedek have done it again. Somewhat in the footsteps of 91 Words for Snow yet quite different, Blank Paper’s In Short is not your typical snowboard movie and that’s what makes it great. For those of you wanting to watch snowboarding from a different angle, and not only cinematographically speaking, it is a must.
As you could expect, the editing and music of this collection of short stories are of very good taste and the diversity of the topics allows for a peek inside the trio’s minds. The Japan Trip is purely good times (brought back many memories of trips just like it), the AK segment portrays the harsh reality of camping in the wild under severe conditions and the photography of the UK opening is really beautiful (yes, they snowboard in the UK in case you didn’t know).
This teaser will only give you a small idea as it previews only one of the stories but those of have seen the ad campaign designed by David Benedek will have a good idea of what’s in store for them.
Go pick up a copy at your local snowboard shop – the real one, you know which one that is!
